The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a central role where you combine business development, market analysis, and customer dialogues with a clear commercial focus. You will work closely with the market, follow industry developments, and identify opportunities that strengthen our market position and contribute to profitable growth.

To succeed in this role, you need to thrive in technology-driven environments. You have a genuine interest in how products and solutions work, appreciate dialogues where technology meets business, and can quickly understand the customer's challenges. With your analytical and technical curiosity, you can translate customer insights into relevant proposals, and together with our internal teams, contribute to developing solutions that create real value.



Your main responsibilities:
  • Build and develop long-term customer relationships and strategic partnerships
  • Drive the entire sales process – from prospecting to closing deals
  • Identify new markets, customer segments, and commercial opportunities
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory requirements, and changes
  • Contact potential customers
  • Conduct market and competitor analyses and prepare decision-making materials
  • Contribute to the development of business models, service offerings, and pricing strategies
  • Collaborate with internal functions to ensure effective implementation of business strategies
  • Ensure that HSE and Compliance requirements are integrated into working methods and decisions
  • Proactively work with risk awareness and follow up relevant KPIs.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has a combination of business drive, analytical ability, and strong relationship skills. You understand complex technical environments and enjoy working both strategically and operationally.

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in fields such as economics, engineering, or marketing, but we also recognize that equivalent work experience can compensate if you do not have formal education. You have worked 5–10 years in business development or technical sales, preferably in a B2B environment, and have documented experience in both creating new business and further developing existing customer relationships. It is an advantage if you have introduced products or solutions to new markets and have a proven ability to build long-term and trustful customer relationships. You have very good knowledge of CRM systems and MS Office.
